A TELFORD child abuse victim has opened up about the horrific “whirlwind” of abuse she suffered at the hands of paedophiles who sold her for sex “countless times”.
The girl, only known as ‘Holly’, was in tears as she claimed she was abused for four years by men who blackmailed her into staying quiet by threatening to rape her family.
Her shocking claims come after Britain was hit by one of the worst child-sex grooming scandals in Telford, Shropshire.
Vulnerable schoolgirls as young as 11 are being lured from their families to be drugged, beaten and raped by male predators, it is claimed.
And today, speaking on Good Morning Britain, an emotional Holly said: “I was abused from the ages of 14-18, my abuse started with boys my own age, who went on to sell my phone number to older men.
“And from there it was just a whirlwind of rape every day basically. I was going into the doctors and the youth sexual health clinic to get the morning after pill, probably twice a week, and nobody even questioned anything.”
“The main abusers, I’d say seven, but I was being sold every day, countless times, for four years.”
Holly also hit out the authorities who she claimed failed to act when she had two abortions and tried to commit suicide.
She told the ITV show: “I had two abortions, still nothing was said to me. I was in cars that were stopped by the police and they asked me no questions of why I was there with a much older man.
Telford child abuse: The victim spoke on Good Morning Britain
Her comments come after it emerged Telford has the third highest number of child sexual offences recorded in the UK, just behind Blackpool and Rotherham.
Experts estimate there could be up to 1,000 victims of grooming or childhood sexual abuse in the Shropshire town over the past four decades.
Among those linked to abuse allegations are a mother and four teenage girls.
