Six dead and 21 injured
A SUICIDE bombing outside a church in Egypt has left at least six people dead – the second fatal explosion to hit the country on Palm Sunday.
Just hours after a bombing rocked a Coptic church in Egypt’s Nile Delta, killing at least 25 people and injuring 60, a second blast at the front of St Mark’s church in Alexandria has led to more fatalities.
So far state television puts the death toll at six, with a further 66 people injured.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for either blast – but state TV said the second explosion was caused by a suicide bombing outside the church.
In December ISIS claimed they were behind a suicide bombing at a Cairo church which left 25 dead and 49 wounded.
The attack marked one of the deadliest attacks on Egypt’s Christian minority in years.
